God gave each and every one of us the breath of life…
That we live our lives and never even really think about…
We just do it… we take oxygen in and we breath out carbon dioxide the very stuff that can actually kill us… but the rest of the world the plants and the trees need carbon dioxide to live… God made us this way :
ACTS 17:24-25
God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
Jesus Is Lord Over My Life And HE and HE alone gets the Glory:
Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
But as God made us this way.. we sometimes forget to give HIM that Glory that he deserves.. we forget what parts of US actually function because it is just something that happens as we live…
But let just one of those things that move, that breath, that pump, that filter inside out bodies stop working and we are instantly reminded that those things are vital for our living… And all the things that we used to hold dear, our stuff, our jobs, all our money, fame and fortune, are no longer important to us.
The ONLY thing that is important is our relationship with GOD!
For me… It’s my lungs…
And they, after years and years of abuse…
Saying to myself and others … “I’ll do what I want”…
And I’ll deal with it later…
Have finally caught up with me…
and need to be removed and replaced,
Much like Jesus did with my spirit,
You see, When I was born, I was born with sin in my life,
According to the Bible we are all born in our sins,
Romans 5:12 (NKJV)
Therefore, just as through one man
sin entered the world, and death through sin,
and thus death spread to all men,
because all sinned—Psalm 51:5 (NKJV)
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.John 3:3 (NKJV)
Jesus answered and said to him,
“Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
And so because of that sin that is in our lives we all need a transplant,
A only not of a lung, but of our spirit, God says its like being born again.
We asked HIM into our lives and he takes away the sin in our life,
And he transplants it with the righteousness of HIS Son Jesus Christ.
John 1:29 (NKJV)
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
Am I worried about the road the God chose for me to walk down?
Yes, Yes I am…
But would I be more worried not knowing that GOD is walking down that road with me? Helping to guide my path?
Again, Yes I would.
Accepting Jesus into my life and being born again, having that brand new spirit living inside of me keeping the peace and joy no matter what I face,
Knowing that if I am here it is for HIS Glory and if HE chooses to take me home to be with HIM, It is still for HIS Glory. I am still good either way.
He is still protecting me either way.
This message kind of explains that Joy and that Peace that being a child of GOD gives us in order to face the trials of this world,
Massive Things, like double Long Transplants to even the every day things like, Should I take this new job or how am I going to pay this months rent.
Look ,
No matter what happens during this journey .
I trust Jesus has the wheel of my life .
And my prayer , as I await the call, is that if He isn’t a part of your life
That you might consider allowing HIM to be.
Because, Without him.. We can do nothing of ourselves..
